Cambridge Primary Checkpoint

The Cambridge Primary Checkpoint is a tool for evaluating students at the end of Cambridge Primary. English, English as a second language, mathematics, science, and Cambridge Global Perspectives are all available. It provides schools with an objective international benchmark for learner achievement and provides useful feedback on learners’ strengths and weaknesses before they move to the next stage of education. Cambridge issues a certificate of completion to each student.

Primary Checkpoint in Cambridge Students in Global Perspectives completes a group project that is graded by teachers and moderated by Cambridge International. Report from a student
The learner’s report contains the following information:
● For the entire subject, a Cambridge Primary Checkpoint score
● Each primary topic/skill has a Cambridge Primary Checkpoint score.
● A list of the questions (and subtopics/skills) on which the candidate performed exceptionally well or poorly.
● A declaration of accomplishment.

Teaching group report
The report on a teaching group gives:
● An average Cambridge Primary Checkpoint score for the whole subject
● An average Cambridge Primary Checkpoint score for each main topic/skill
● A list of subtopics/skills with comments on the performance of the group
● The Cambridge Primary Checkpoint scores of each learner on the subject and on each main topic/skill
● The marks scored by each learner on each question.

Report on the school
A school report includes the following information:
● For the entire topic, an average Cambridge Primary Checkpoint score
● Each primary topic/skill has an average Cambridge Primary Checkpoint score.
● A list of subtopics/skills with feedback on the learners’ performance.
